The Burren Perfumery & Tea Rooms

pixelponyphotography

Who doesn't want a perfume inspired by the Burren? And of course some hot locally made tea as well!

The Burren Perfumery and Tea Rooms are a great stop if you are out by the Burren National Park. About a 25 minute drive from Ballyvaughan the perfumery and tea rooms are absolutely lovely! We stopped in the tea rooms first and I had the Burren tea, which was delicious. This tea room is free in the off season although they do have a tip jar and after you have their tea and a home made cookie I'm sure you will drop a euro or two in there!

After warming up with some tea we headed to a building across the way. This is the perfumery where your nostrils will smell all sorts of delights. From flora and fauna to fresh cut grass and other scents influenced by the seasons in the Burren. Besides perfumes there are also soups, lotions, essential oils, candles, facial creams and more! Everything has sample options for you to try out and smell all the different fragrances before trying to make the near impossible decision of trying to pick a perfume or other merchandise to get.
